Project narrative

On April 17, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Ghana donated supplies to the Office of the National Chief Imam of Ghana (ONCI). The supplies, which was comprised of 2,000 bags of rice, 3,000 liters of cooking oil, and 6,000 face masks (and worth about GH¢110,000), was to be distributed to the various Muslim communities in Accra to alleviate the food shortage of some poor groups due to COVID-19, the restriction of movement, and also for Ramadan.
