Project narrative

On February 22, 2012, a year after the devastating Christchurch earthquake, the handover ceremony for a first response vehicle for the Christchurch arm of St John New Zealand, a New Zealand charity that, among other things, provides ambulance and health care services, was held. The City of Wuhan donated RMB 100,000 to support the acquisition. The Seattle-Christchurch Sister City Association also raised and donated $30,000 USD to support the acquisition. The donations totaled $52,000 NZD.
