Project narrative

On August 12, 2020, the Chinese Embassy donated funds and materials to the Pouponnière Daryel Orphanage in Djibouti. The materials included various home appliances, computers, and other equipment. These materials will help the orphanage create a good environment and provide opportunities for full development. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony for this donation was held at the Pouponnière Daryel Orphanage. China’s Ambassador to Djibouti, Zhuo Ruisheng, officials from the Pouponnière Daryel Orphanage, the Minister of Women and Family, the Dean of Pouponnière Daryel Orphanage, and others attended the ceremony. Ambassador Zhuo and Minister Hassan jointly signed the handover certificate.
