Project narrative

On May 11, 2020, the Chinese government donated anti-epidemic materials to Djibouti. These materials will be used to improve COVID-19 prevention efforts in Djibouti. The specific type, amount, and monetary value of this donation are unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport. China’s Ambassador to Djibouti, Zhuo Ruisheng, the Foreign Minister of Djibouti, and the Health Minister of Djibouti attended the ceremony. Ambassador Zhuo and Foreign Minister Yusuf signed the handover certificate on behalf of their respective governments.
