On May 15, 2020, Ghana's Ministry of Health received a donation of ventilators, KN95 and surgical nose masks, goggles, surgical gloves, isolation gowns, medical shoe covers, gun thermometers, disinfectants and wipes from the Ghana Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The supplies originated from a combination of the Chinese Government, Chinese private sector companies, and Chinese state-owned companies, with the Ghana Ministry of Foreign Affairs acting as the implementing agency. The full donation is valued at approximately USD $400,000.
