Description

In December 2001, a signing ceremony was held for an economic and technical cooperation agreement between Lesotho and China. According to the agreement, China would increase their development aid and interest-free loans from 10,000,000 to 15,000,000 ZAR, with most of the increase going to fund highways in eastern Lesotho to KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
