Project narrative

On April 18, 2020, a first batch of anti-epidemic supplies donated by the Chinese government arrived in Mauritius on a chartered plane. The supplies included face masks, personal protective equipment, testing kits, and thermometers, according to CGTN Africa. Further according to CGTN, this delivery was the first of several batches of COVID supplies that were to arrive in Mauritius.
