Project narrative

On May 20, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda donated a batch of food supplies to the Rwanda Wushu Association worth RWF 24 million. The donated supplies included maize flour, beans, cooking oil and rice. The supplies weighed 28.8 tons. The donation will be distributed to 400 families of Kungfu players across Rwanda. It is intended to assist those impacted by Covid-19. A donation ceremony took place and was attended by Didier Shema-Maboko, the Permanent Secretary of the Rwandan Ministry of Sports, and Richard Makuza, the Vice President of Rwanda Kungfu/Wushu Federation.
