Project narrative

On December 2, 2020, the Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, Rao Hongwei, visited FAWE Girls' School in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, and donated 333 teaching desks and chairs worth 20 million RWF on behalf of the Chinese Embassy. Before the donation, two students would share a desk. To prevent the spread of Covid-19, The donation handover ceremony was attended by Pauline Umwali, the Executive Administrator of the Gasabo district. Following the donation, Ambassador Rao visited the school library, multimedia room and other teaching places with Principal Kailaba.
