Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In December 2021, Ambassador Chen Mingjian and Tanzanian Minister of Education, Science and Technology Joyce Ndalichako jointly signed the donation certificate for the donation of sewing machines by the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania to Kasulu, a poor area in Kigoma Province, a remote province of Tanzania. Cultural Counselor Wang Siping participated. These sewing machines will be used to promote labor and jobs in Tanzania. Specifically, this donation will be used to set up small garment factories in 15 poor rural areas in Kasulu, which will solve more than 300 jobs, increase the income of local women and youth groups, improve their family life and enhance their social status
