Project narrative

On March 23, 2020, the Chinese government provided medical supplies to the Nigerian Ministry of Health. These supplies included infection prevention and control materials that will be used to improve COVID-19 response efforts in Nigeria. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony took place for this donation. China’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Zhou Pingjian, the Nigerian Minister of Health, the Minister of State, and the Permanent Secretary attended the ceremony.
