Project narrative

On March 4, 2021, a ceremony was held for the donation of Medical Supplies from the Chinese Government to the China-Chad Friendship Hospital. The medical equipment was purchased by the National Health Commission of China and First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University and is intended to combat COVID-19. This batch of equipment has an overall cost estimated at 32 million FCFA. The Chinese Ambassador to Chad, the Secretary of State for Public Health of Chad, and the President of the China-Chad Friendship Hospital attended the ceremony. The donation is part of the China-Africa Counterpart Hospital Cooperation Mechanism.
