Description

On July 17, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan donated anti-epidemic supplies to the Ministry of Health in South Sudan. The supplies included 58 oxygen concentrators and 2,000 ventilator consumables. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Juba Teaching Hospital in South Sudan. Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan, Hua Ning, and South Sudan's Deputy Minister of Health attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. The Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, Cai Senming, the Director of Juba Teaching Hospital, the captain of the 7th South Sudan medical team, Tang Youbin, and the South Sudanese Medical Team Leader of the Technical Cooperation Group also attended the ceremony.
