Project narrative

On July 10, 2020, the Chinese first lady donated 18000 Medical Masks and 120 infrared thermometers to the first lady of Namibia, Monica Geingos' One Economy Foundation. The donation was made specifically to help women and children. The Chinese ambassador to Namibia facilitated the handover of the supplies, which were to be distributed to survivors of gender based violence and to youth organizations. The donation was made alongside a donation of 30 sewing machines by the Chinese Embassy (Record ID#93216).
