Project narrative

On January 16, 2020, the arrival ceremony for the 13th Chinese medical team in Namibia was held at Katutura Hospital in Windhoek. The team consisted of two doctors and two nurses, all of whom practiced traditional Chinese medicine. They returned to China on October 26, 2021, 3 months delayed from the original departure time in July, 2021 due to COVID-19. During their 18-month stay in Namibia, the team treated more than 7,000 Namibian people, and introduced traditional Chinese medicine practices.
