On May 25, 2021, the Chinese Embassy provided the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship," to students at Nkrumah Secondary School in Guinea-Bissau. The purpose of this donation is to encourage more students to study in China and learn about Chinese culture. The monetary value of each scholarship is unknown. An award ceremony was held for this donation at the 46th anniversary celebration of Nkrumah Secondary School. At the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Guo Ce awarded students with the scholarships and delivered a speech.
