On April 29, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Namibia donated 45,000 surgical masks, 4,000 N95 masks, and 35 forehead thermometers to 7 primary and secondary schools in Windhoek, Namibia. According to the Chinese Embassy, the donation is worth 1 million Namibian dollars. The donation is intended to assist these schools during the COVID-19 pandemic.
