Project narrative

On May 11, 2020, a 12-person medical expert team sent by the Chinese government arrived in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe (See Record ID#91963), with emergency aid materials. Upon their arrival a handover ceremony for the large amount of donated anti-epidemic materials was held. From May 11, 2020 to their departure on May 25, 2020, the medical team distributed these materials to the various hospitals they visited. Throughout their stay in Zimbabwe, the expert group visited medical institutions in the four provinces of Harare, Mashonaland East, Mashonaland Central and Mashonaland West including Marondera Provincial Hospital, Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital, and Mvurwi Hospital.
