Project narrative

On November 24, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone held a handover ceremony for a batch of COVID aid donated to Sierra Leone. This round of donations included 20,016 testing kits, 4,000 KN95 respirators, 50,000 surgical masks, 1,000 PPEs, 2,000 disposable isolation gowns, 1,000 medical shoe covers, 100 forehead thermometer guns, 35 ventilators, 35 oxy-generators and related accessories. The handover ceremony was attended by Ambassador Hu Zhangliang and senior officials from Sierra Leone, including the Minister of Defense, General Coordinator of the National New Crown Epidemic Emergency Command Center, Deputy Minister of Defense, Vice Minister of Health, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces Cisse.
