Project narrative

On August 21, 2020, the Chinese Government donated anti-epidemic materials to the Angolan Government to support Angolan citizens affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The materials included 18,000 surgical masks, 5,000 pairs of gloves, 120 thermometers, and 360 bottles of hand sanitizer. The donation was made through the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD). The monetary value of the donation is unknown. The donation occurred in a handover ceremony attended by Angolan First Lady Ana Dias Lourença and Chinese Ambassador Gong Tao.
