On March 13 and 20, 2019, Ambassador Li Jian attended the award ceremony for the "Chinese Ambassador's Scholarship" at the University of Ouagadougou I and University of Ouagadougou II, respectively. Professor Alkassoum Maiga, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso, as well as more than 100 rectors, teachers and students of the two universities were present.
