Description

On December 3, 2021, the Chinese Government and the Government of Mauritania signed a memorandum of understanding for the Madrid Roads Forum Bridge Project. The bridge will connect Mauritania and China and ease traffic concerns. A signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania. The memorandum was signed by Mauritania’s Minister of Supply and Transport, Mohammed Ahmedou Ahmed, and the Chinese Ambassador to Mauritania, Li Bei Jin.
