Project narrative

On November 25, 2021, Ambassador Zhang Yiming announced that the Chinese Government will once again donate 200,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine to Namibia. According to the Chinese Embassy in Namibia, the ambassador made this announcement at the signing ceremony of the Economic and Technological Cooperation Agreement between China and Namibia. This donation follows an earlier donation of 100,000 Sinopharm vaccines from China made in March 2021. According to a media report, it is unclear when the donation will take place.
