Project narrative

On April 27th, 2021, China's fifth medical team to Samoa held a departure ceremony. The renewed medical team programs between China and Samoa started in 2018, and the rotation is typically every six month. The fifth team added Obstetrics and Gynecology and Critical Care Medicine specialists on its team. The team concluded its mission on February 26th, 2022 and returned to China. The mission was longer than expected because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The personnel on medical team to Samoa was selected from various hospitals in Jilin province in northern China.
