In March 2022, China sent its sixed medical team to Samoa. The renewed medical team programs between China and Samoa started in 2018, and the rotation is typically every half a year. The fifth team concluded its mission on February 26th, 2022, and the sixth team took over. The exact start date of the sixth team is unknown. The sixth team concluded its mission on October 8th, 2022. The personnel on medical team to Samoa was selected from various hospitals in Jilin province in northern China.
