On October 15, 2020, the Chinese Embassy provided supplies to the Togo Senior Citizens Advisory Council. A handover ceremony was held for this donation on October 15, 2020. Chao Weidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Togo, Minister of Multi-Social Action, Women's Promotion and Literacy, Arpedo-Anakoma, the Chief of Staff, the Secretary-General, the Director of the National Rescue Agency, and the Coordinator of Togo's Advisory Council for the Elderly Affairs, Ajay Wei-Nelope, attended the ceremony.
