On May 13, 2020, the Chinese government provided a fourth phase of technical assistance to the Presidential Palace of Togo and Lomé Hospital. The specific actions involved in this assistance, and the monetary value of this provision, are unknown. A ceremony was held for the signing of the handover certificate for this assistance. Chao Weidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Togo, Victoire Tomega-Dobe, the Chief of Staff of the President of Togo, and the Minister of Health and Public Health in Togo, Tafa Miguiawa, signed the handover certificate for the aid to the Presidential Palace of Togo and the Lomé Hospital.
