Project narrative

On November 26, 2021, the signing ceremony was held for an agreement between the Chinese Embassy, Huawei Cyprus, Outfit7, and the Cyprus Forest Association for a donation totaling EUR 62,000 to develop the Melini Forest Park. The two companies, Huawei Cyprus and Outfit 7, both pledged a donation of EUR 25,000 for the park's development. The Chinese Embassy pledged to donate EUR 12,000 to the project. The Melini Forest Park is to be located in Limassol and contribute to efforts to restore Melini, one of the worst affected areas that suffered from a wildfire in July 2021.
