Project narrative

On September 27, 2020, the Chinese government sent an anti-epidemic medical expert team to Lesotho in order to fight COVID-19. This team was comprised of 10 medical experts, and they arrived with personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies. It was organized by the National Health Commission of China and members were selected by Hubei Provincial Health Commission. As of October 21, 2020, the team had visited the Ministry of Health of Lesotho, the designated hospitals for the new crown, the national nucleic acid testing laboratory and the WHO representative office in Lesotho, and helped formulate plans for fever clinics. The team departed China on September 27, 2020. On November 5, 2020, the team arrived back home.
