Project narrative

On May 20, 2020, the Fujian Police Institute of China provided anti-epidemic supplies to the Central African Republic. These supplies will be used for COVID-19 prevention efforts in the Central African Republic. These supplies included 5,000 nose masks, 20 coveralls, 20 goggles and 8 frontal guns. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Presidential Palace of the Central African Republic. The President of the Central African Republic, Central African Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office, the Presidential Press Advisor, the Presidential Political Advisor, the Minister of National Defense, the Minister of Economic Planning and International Cooperation, the Commander of the National Gendarmeria, the Superintendent of the police, and Chinese Ambassador Chen Dong attended the ceremony. This handover ceremony also included the handover of supplies from the Chinese government. The details of that donation is outlined in Record ID’s #92974.
