Project narrative

On April 30, 2021, the Chinese Government delivered 200,000 donated doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines to the Government of North Macedonia. Then, on May 15, 2021, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China delivered another 100,000 donated doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines to North Macedonia's Ministry of Defense. A handover ceremony took place for this donation in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Zhang Zuo, the Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia, the North Macedonian Minister of Defense, the Minister of Health, the North Macedonian Army Chief of Staff, and the Defense Attaché of the Embassy in North Macedonia jointly attended the ceremony. These officials also inspected the vaccines and supporting syringes, and signed the handover certificate.
