Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In April 2013, the Chinese Consulate-General in Vancouver donated over 200 books to the Prince George Public Library (PGPL). The books were in both Mandarin and English and span a range of genres. On May 30, 2013, the Prince George Public Library held a ceremony to celebrate the donation, which was attended by representatives from the Chinese consulate. The donation occurred during a period of deepening relations between Chinese-affiliated organizations and entities native to Prince George.
