Project narrative

On November 15, 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia signed an agreement Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (captured in Record ID#94086) between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the People's Republic of China. One of the projects under this E.T.C.A. was the construction of a new pavilion for Armenian Public Television. On June 2, 2023, a formal agreement was signed between the Government of Armenia and the Director of Asia-Pacific Department of International Economic Cooperation Bureau at MOFCOM. The grant of AMD 10 billion (~USD 26 million) was allocated for the 8th pavilion of Armenian Public Television, which will cover 1,000 square meters. Construction is expected to be completed within 26 months.
