Project narrative

On April 9, the Chinese government provided anti-epidemic materials to Côte d'Ivoire. The materials included 2,000 protective suits, 2,000 N95 type masks, 10,000 surgical masks, 500 temperature guns, 2,000 pairs of protective goggles, 10,000 pairs of disposable surgical gloves and 10,000 pairs of disposable overshoes. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation on April 17, 2020 in Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire. Côte d'Ivoire's Minister of Health and Public Health, Avel Eugene Aka, and the Chinese Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, Wan Li, attended the ceremony.
