Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Walter and Gladys Hill Public School was established on February 16, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Walter and Gladys Hill Public School with a grant. The idea to establish a Confucius Classroom in the school began as early as in February 2015. Tai’an Normal School Affiliated Elementary School was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44130.
