The Confucius Classroom at Edith Rogers School was established on October 2, 2014. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Edith Rogers School with a grant. It was reported in March 2014 that Edith Rogers School was designated as a Confucius Classroom. Binzhou Experimental School was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
