The Confucius Classroom at Centre High Campus was established on September 14, 2014. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Centre High Campus with a grant. It was reported in March 2014 that Centre High Campus was designated as a Confucius Classroom. Jiaozhou No.1 Middle School was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
