Project narrative

The agreement to set up the Confucius Classroom at College Limoilou (or CEGEP Limoilou) was signed on February 7, 2013. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing College Limoilou with a grant. It was the first Confucius Classroom to be set up in Quebec. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44132.

Staff comments

1. AidData has coded Beijing Normal University as the implementing agency because Beijing Normal University is the Chinese partner institution for the Confucius Institute in Quebec, which oversees this Confucius Classroom. 2. The Chinese name of this project is 黎姆瓦卢学院孔子课堂.
