On May 13, 2020, the Chinese Consulate General in Cape Town donated surgical masks worth ZAR 20,00 to the South African Parliament. This project is the first donation of masks from the Chinese Consulate General to the South African Parliament. The second such donation occurred in October 2020 and is captured by Record ID#93586.
