Project narrative

On July 18, 2001, representatives of the Chinese Consulate-General presented 500 volumes of Chinese materials concerning Chinese language, literature, and culture to the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library, part of the University of Toronto. The Consul General at the time, Sun Shuxian, was present at the ceremony.
