Project narrative

On October 7, 2010, the city of Ottawa unveiled a new gateway to the city's Chinatown area. The city of Beijing contributed $300,000 CAD of in-kind services to the design, material procurement, and construction of the gateway. The gateway was constructed as part of the twin-city relationship between Ottawa and Beijing.
