Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On July 27, 2020, a donation of 24 jackets and 19 thermal pants from Shandong Gold Group and Barrick Gold was handed over to medical staff in the San Juan Province's Health Zone II and César Aguilar Hospital in Caucete. The Health Zone II and César Aguilar Hospital are in the Bermejo Control (or Bermejo Safe Corridor), one of three safe control zones in the province in which individuals entering San Juan from other provinces are tested for COVID-19. The materials are intended to help health personnel who carry out these tests outdoors, often in sub-zero temperatures.

Staff comments

1. Health Zone II (Zona Sanitaria II) and César Aguilar Hospital (Hospital César Aguilar or Hospital de Caucete) are both under the San Juan Provincial Ministry of Health.
