Project narrative

On July 20, 2001 China delivered de-mining equipment to the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces. The equipment, which includes assorted mine detectors and protection gear for sappers, is worth more than 150,000 dollars. Mozambican Defence Minister Tobias Dai said the equipment would be used in designated minefields so as to permit the implementation of socioeconomic projects.
