Description

On June 25, 2020, the Buenos Aires Municipal Sub-Secretary of Health System Administration accepted a donation of medical supplies from the Chongqing Municipal Government. The donation was worth a total of USD 51,496 and included 1,700 N95 Surgical Masks, 1,200 disposable protective suits, and 1,500 disposable face shields. The supplies will be used to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Buenos Aires. On July 30, 2020, the CABA Secretary-General Fernando Straface, thanked the Chinese Embassy on a video call for the donation from Chongqing and other municipal governments, on behalf of the City of Buenos Aires.

Additional details

1. This project should not be confused with Project ID#91137, which captures a donation of medical supplies by the Chongqing Municipal Government to the Cordoba Province. While the donors are the same, these supplies arrived in Córdoba on June 2, 2020, and included different materials: 1,100 face shields, 1,520 N95 masks and 1,350 protective suits.
