Project narrative

On March 21st, 2020, a six-member Chinese medical team with experience fighting COVID-19 arrived in Belgrade, Serbia. The doctors brought ventilators, medical masks, test kits, and other supplies in the first batch of 16 tons of donations to Serbia. Three rotating members of the Medical Expert Group were awarded the military's highest-level commemorative medals by Serbian Defense Minister Wu Lin on June 1st, 2020. The purpose of this donation is to help Serbia fight against the pandemic. On June 11th, 2020, the medical team left Serbia, completing the project.
