The Confucius Classroom at Mount Clear College was established on November 19, 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Scotch Oakburn College with a grant. Jingshan School of Beijing (景山中学 ) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
