Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Cleveland District State High School was established on April 25, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Cleveland District State High School with a grant. The Confucius classroom was officially opened on March 25, 2012. An initial sum of $10,000 AUD was provided to this Confucius Classroom for the setup of the classroom. Nanjing Hou Biao Ying Primary School (南京市后标营小学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
