Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Somerset College was established in 2013. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Somerset College with a grant. In September 2013, Somerset College and the Tourism Confucius Institute at Griffith University discussed the set up of the Confucius Classroom at Somerset College. The Confucius Classroom received the Hanban plaque on January 22, 2016.
