Project narrative

On July 3, 2020, the Chinese Government donated Covid-19 relief supplies to the Senegalese Ministry of Health and Social Action. The donation included 10,032 testing reagents,10,000 sets of protective clothing, 15,000 pairs of goggles, and 20,000 N95 Masks, 15,000 pairs of gloves, 3,000 pairs of shoe covers and 350,000 surgical masks and other medical supplies. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. This donation is comprised of two parts. The first, which contains the majority of the supplies donated, is the third batch of supplies donated by the Chinese government. The second comprises 20,000 surgical masks and is donated China Road and Bridge Senegal Corporation. After the handover ceremony was completed, representatives from the two sides signed the intergovernmental handover certificate for the third batch of anti-epidemic goods.
