Project narrative

On April 24, 2021, the Chinese Government delivered 150,000 donated doses of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines to the Government of Azerbaijan. A handover ceremony was held for this donation on April 27, 2021 at the Ministry of Health in Azerbaijan. China’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Guo Min, the Deputy Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, the Director of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Health, officials from the National Compulsory Medical Insurance Administration, and members of the Local Medical Institutions Supervision Bureau attended the ceremony. Ambassador Guo Min and the Deputy Minister of Health of Azerbaijan jointly signed the handover certificate at the ceremony. The donation was announced by the Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan on April 1, 2021
